Empowering Youth and Communities
Who We Are.
Matthew 5:14-18: "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Our Pillars & Impact.

The Need:
-
Many in marginalized communities rely on faith and spirituality for emotional resilience, yet lack inclusive wellness spaces that honor that connection (Pew Research, NIMH).
-
Spiritual grounding reduces stress and fosters a sense of hope and identity, especially during trauma recovery.
Our Impact So Far:
-
Co-led community-centered faith & mental health initiatives in partnership with churches in Metro Atlanta, creating safe, healing-focused conversations.

The Need:
-
Nearly 20% of Georgia residents lack regular access to physical wellness resources (Georgia Department of Public Health).
-
Physical inactivity is a key contributor to chronic disease, especially in underserved zip codes.
Our Impact So Far:
-
Coordinated resource tables, health engagement materials, and volunteer participation at public events across Metro Atlanta.

The Need:
-
Over 40% of adults in Georgia report experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or emotional distress, yet most never receive support (CDC BRFSS, 2023). Emotional wellness challenges often go unrecognized until they escalate into crises.
-
Georgia ranks 49th in access to mental health care in the U.S. (Mental Health America, 2024).
-
Communities of color are less likely to receive mental health care and more likely to face stigma when they do (CDC, APA).
Our Impact So Far:
-
Provided free self-care resources, emotional wellness tools, and reflection activities at local events with no clinical barrier to access.

The Need:
-
1 in 3 adults in Georgia report feeling lonely or socially disconnected (CDC Behavioral Risk Data).
-
Social isolation is linked to depression, heart disease, and premature death.
Our Impact So Far:
-
Hosted inclusive events like Family Fishing Fun Day and Breezy Bonnet Brunch to build safe, joyful community connections.
